The award presented through this scholarship application covers the costs of pursuing a bachelor’s degree. All international students, including non-EU/EEA students, are eligible.

Saxion University of Applied Sciences is a Dutch university with three campuses in the east of the country. It offers over 100 courses in subjects such as archaeology, finance, law, engineering, hospitality, business, information technology, broadcasting, health, and digital media. It is one of the largest higher education institutions in the Netherlands, with approximately 27,000 students. Saxion University offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Living Technology, as well as research.
Saxion University origins can be dated back to 1875. In 1998, Saxion University was formed by the merger of two educational institutions, the Hogeschool Enschede and the Hogeschool IJselland. Saxion was able to strengthen its position in Dutch higher education as a result of this merger, and the university has since become known as a regional, national, and international centre of competence.
Over 27,000 students attend the university’s three campuses, including over 3,500 international students representing 89 different countries. Since the university’s inception in 1998, the number of students has been steadily increasing.
Saxion University assists students in preparing for an international future by providing support not just academically but also in terms of personal development. Students can apply for the Connect Program after graduation, which provides talented graduates with free training, workshops, and Dutch courses.

- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- This scholarship is meant for talented students with above-average study results who apply for a bachelor’s programme. The scholarship only applies to non-EU/EEA students who pay the full institutional tuition fee.
✅ How to Apply Saxion University Scholarship
- How to Apply: Students can apply through Studielink or through the university’s own application form, depending on the course they wish to apply for. The scholarship application must be made separately online.
- Supporting Documents: The students are required to submit a legalised copy of the original and translation of the diploma and grade list of the High School or Bachelor degree and grade lists.
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet all the admission and entry requirements of the university.
- Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- IELTS – 6.0
- TOEFL IBT – 80
- TOEFL PBT – 550
- Cambridge English Score – 169 to 175
