Students who have shown a history and/or current dedication to social justice through their work in voluntary, professional, and/or academic settings are the only ones who will be considered for the Price Benowitz LLP award. For a chance to win $2,000 in cash, only current U.S. students who are enrolled in an approved community college, undergraduate institution, or graduate program can send in an application.

To qualify for the Price Benowitz Scholarships, candidates must fulfill all of the following requirements:
- All international, as well as US national students, are eligible to apply.
- Students can apply for college or advanced degrees of all types offered at any college or university of their choice.
- To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The Price Benowitz scholarship is offered to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. This includes incoming first-year college students who are high school graduates or possess a GED.
- The Price Benowitz scholarship candidate must possess an interest in social justice, as demonstrated by past and present volunteer, professional, and educational experiences.
- All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
