The University of Birmingham has announced Commonwealth Scholarship for international postgraduates as international postgraduates are an integral part of the diverse and vibrant student community.
To ensure the very best talent is nurtured and supported at the postgraduate level at Birmingham, they have launched new scholarships alongside their existing financial support.

✅ What is the Commonwealth Scholarship at the University of Birmingham?
This £3,000 scholarship is offered to all international students from countries competing in the Commonwealth Games 2022 who wish to study for a taught Masters degree at Birmingham during the academic year 2022/23. This amount will be deducted from eligible scholars’ total tuition fees owed if they match the criteria.

- The applicant must have applied for and received an admission offer for a taught Master’s degree at the University of Birmingham UK campus.
- The applicant must be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes.
- The applicant must start studies at the University in September/ October 2022 on a course delivered on-campus.

All applications to study in September 2022 must be received by the deadline of 1 July 2022. However, the recommendation is that you apply for your intended program as soon as possible to ensure you meet the eligibility for this scholarship.
